I am a fourth year student of Software Engineering at the
Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
Originally from Pine Island, NY. I started working with computers when I was 8 and I helped make an
HTML web site for my elementary school. I went on to make sites for other people and organizations throughout
middle school and high school.
I enjoyed learning how a computer could interpret text and create a great looking web site.
I decided in high school that I wanted to go into Software Engineering and learn to program software for mostly the same reasons.
I wanted to create programs that people would use and benefit from.
In addition, I wanted to create software projects from the ground up and have control over the function and overall look of the final product.
I believe my major will help me accomplish this and I am glad that I chose it.
I have been a member of the society of software engineers for most of my time here at RIT,
and have participated in
rapid development weekends,
as well as on intramural teams.
I continue to make and edit an occasional web site (such as this one).
When I'm not on the computer, I enjoy gaming, snowboarding in the winter, and traveling.
